What we treat

Hands-on care for the way you actually live

Every session is one-to-one with the same therapist, in English, with a plan you can follow at home.

  • Sports injury rehab

Sprains, strains, runner's knee and tendon issues. We get you back to training with a graded return-to-sport plan.

  • Back & neck pain

Assessment, manual therapy and targeted exercise for persistent lower-back pain, stiff necks and sciatica-type symptoms.

  • Post-surgery rehabilitation

Structured recovery after ACL, meniscus, shoulder or hip surgery, coordinated with your surgeon's protocol.

  • Manual therapy

Joint mobilisation, soft-tissue techniques and dry needling by therapists with postgraduate manual-therapy training.

  • Clinical Pilates

Small-group and individual reformer sessions to rebuild core control, mobility and confidence after injury.

  • Remote-work ergonomics

A 60-minute desk-setup and posture review for people who work from home, plus a mobility routine that fits between calls.

How it works

From first message to feeling better, in three steps

  1. Tell us what's going on

Fill in the short booking form or call us. We reply within one working day with available times — usually within the same week.

  2. Your 50-minute assessment

Your therapist takes a full history, examines how you move and explains what they find in plain English. You leave with a clear diagnosis hypothesis and your first exercises.

  3. A plan you can actually follow

Hands-on treatment in the clinic and a personalised home programme with short videos. We review progress every session and adjust the plan together.

What people say after their treatment

  • “I tore my ACL skiing and moved to Lisbon two months after surgery. Ana coordinated with my surgeon in Munich and had me jogging again by month six. Everything explained in English, no guesswork.”

Hannah M. Product manager from Berlin · ACL rehabilitation
  • “Years of lower-back pain from working at a laptop. Miguel explained what he found in plain English, reviewed my desk setup and gave me a ten-minute daily routine with videos. Sessions always started on time and I always knew what the next step was.”

Tom R. Software engineer from Dublin · Back pain
  • “As a runner I needed someone who'd tell me when to push and when to stop. The return-to-running plan was realistic and I ran the Lisbon Half without the old Achilles pain.”

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. In Portugal you can book a physiotherapist directly. If your insurer requires a referral for reimbursement, we can advise you on how to obtain one from a GP.

Does my international health insurance cover the sessions?

Most international plans reimburse physiotherapy. We provide itemised invoices with our licence number and the therapist's registration for your claim. Direct billing is available with Allianz Care, Cigna Global and Bupa Global.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

We keep slots open every day for new patients. In most cases you will be seen within the same week, often within 48 hours.

What should I bring or wear?

Comfortable clothing that lets your therapist see and move the affected area (shorts for knees or hips, a vest for shoulders). Bring any imaging reports or surgical notes you have — a phone photo is fine.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment by email, phone or WhatsApp. Later cancellations are charged at 50% of the session price.

Where is the clinic and how do I get there?

We are at Rua Saraiva de Carvalho 118 in Campo de Ourique, two minutes from the 28 tram (Igreja de Santo Condestável stop). Buses 709 and 774 stop outside. Street parking is available and the building has a lift.
